EXIT Midlands Realty Agents Help the Community: Chapin, SC Real Estate News

EXIT Midlands Realty, located at 200 Clark Street in Chapin, SC, is dedicated to the local community and attempts to assist local homeowners in the Chapin and Columbia areas as much as possible. This past Saturday EXIT Midlands Realty participated in a GOoDWorks housing "blitz". The agents arrived at GOodWorks at 7:30am ready to volunteer and do what whatever was asked of them. Sue Madden, Director of GOodWorks, had everything organized and ready to go for the day. Much of the work that needed to be done included exterior painting, hanging drywall, foundation finishing, light pick up and "other duties as assigned". (always a good catch all!)

During the day over 55 hours of labor was spent on the home and according to Dan Bergland, the Project Coordinator, "I am very pleased with the results of today's efforts. Much more was completed than I had anticipated." Once it was decided that it was time to clean the brushes, empty the paint containers and put up the ladders for the day everyone went back to the GoodWorks office for lunch. The agents and their spouses that participated included, Carl McClure, Denise Lawson, Paul Saucier, Cathie Saucier, Danielle Wegner, Tom Baldwin, Patrick Greene, Virginia Greene, Meg Liles, Cameron Liles and Brandon Liles.

During our lunch, Carl McClure, was recognized at the top selling agent for the month of June. Carl's dedication to the profession and his clients continue to propel Carl to the top of the listing and sales boards each month. Congratulations to Carl for a job well done!

In spite of the blisters, neck and back pains everyone involved asked, "When is the next time we can do this?" That statement is a testament to the heart and spirit of EXIT Midlands Realty! Many thanks to everyone that participated!
