The Hartsville-based packaging company has been rated the top packaging company and the top company in the materials sectors in Newsweek magazine’s 2011 green rankings, which assess the nation's largest 500 public companies on their environmental practices.
The parent company of South Carolina’s NBSC bank said it had net income of $30.2 million in the third quarter, compared with a loss in the third quarter of 2010 of $181.2 million.
The university is collaborating with three technical colleges to open centers in the Pee Dee, Greenville and Charleston to train automotive and aerospace technicians.
