TD Bank expanding Lexington mortgage team TD Bank said Wednesday it will hire another 50 people at its loan center in Lexington. This is an addition to 50 the company hired last year, shortly after acquiring Greenville’s Carolina First. First Community Corp. boosts profit three-fold The Lexington-based holding company for First Community Bank increased net income in the third quarter to $790,000, more than three times the $228,000 in its year-earlier third quarter.

Sonoco announces leadership appointments Vicki Arthur has been selected to lead Tegrant integration activities; Rodger Fuller and Howard Coker have been given expanded responsibilities following the recent acquisition. NK Newlook plans facility in Barnwell County The manufacturer of store fixtures and retail interiors plans to locate a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Barnwell County, investing $5 million and expecting to generate 212 new jobs.
