V.C. Summer Station completes maintenance outage S.C. Electric & Gas Co. has completed its scheduled refueling and maintenance outage at the nuclear plant. The plant entered the outage April 15 and returned to service Tuesday. Job of the Week The Beach Company is looking to hire a maintenance technician in Myrtle Beach. The seasonal, full-time position entails preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance work. A high school education or equivalent certification with 3-5 years’ experience in the areas of HVAC, carpentry, dry wall, appliances, plumbing, masonry, roofing and electrical repair is preferred.
